From the Yunnan province of China, Yunnan Gold is one of the most cherished black teas of China. This exquisite tea grows from Wild Ancient Trees 6,000 feet up on misty Jing Mai Mountain. Reportedly cared for a thousand years by local hill tribes, these leaves are broad, and golden with a full bodied flavor and notes of a light caramel, smooth finish. Caffeination level will be less than an Indian black like Assam or Darjeeling.
