Green Organic: Pi Lo Chin (Spring Snail)
$4.00 – $23.50
Description
One of China’s Top 10 famous teas, Pi Lo Chin means Spring Green Snail. Delicate small downy leaves are plucked once a year in Mar-April. Often the tea bushes are grown in between plum, peach and apricot trees, resulting in a delicious fruity flavor and subtle floral fragrance. Once picked, the leaves are pan-fried to stop fermentation (oxidation) and the leaves are rolled into little coil shapes resembling tiny snails. Pi Lo Chin is not very common to find but a treat to have in one’s tea collection.
